Madiha Siraj is a installation artist and painter. A graduate from University of California, San Diego her work primarily uses Islamic geometric patterns as a vehicle for creating her work. Inspired by the work of traditional Islamic artists, she creates expansive installations that use small "units" tessellated multiple times to create dizzying experiences. Her two dimensional works incorporate her love of Islamic patterns. Siraj's work is often playful and relies heavily on the use of bright colors to create a "feel good vibe" for the viewer.
